Image classification is an important subject in Computer Sciences and Statistics courses, among others.
Processes and concepts related to it include abstract and multidimention complex data what make difficult their teaching and learning
throught traditional methods, as images drawn in blackboard on present in books. Based on the Construtivism Theory
is possible to apply Virtual Reality (VR) techniques to improve the learning process and allow a better perception of the elements present in the
space (3D). Additionally, it can get users closer to the subject in a interactive experience.
EducaView é is a system developed to support and complement the teaching of image classifiers.
It implements some of the most important methods for supervised and non-supervised image classification.
Thus, the user can view and interact with elemnts and processes related to the classification of a three-channel image.
The system allows user to interact in all steps of the classification process and visualize the particularities of the methods.
