The Statistical Calculator is a system dedicated to present and distance learning. It consists on an intelligent tool composed by an interactive
environment able to guide the user to correctly perform the steps necessary for an statistical analysis.This occurs by restriction analysis in each operation requested by user.
Thus, this analysis will inform the reasons of mistakes, which helps and encourages users to develop their own knowledge. By the Statistical Calculator students can answer
their questions, learn and establish statistical concepts while knowledge gaps can be filled. The Statistical Calculator was designed to work on the web by applets, which allow
access regardless of operating system.
In this version, the Statistical Calculator is presented in a traditional interface just like in an ordinary calculator. Then, the user actions are
presented in a sequancial way. This interface has three modules:
- Statistical Quality Control Module
- Basic Statistical Module
- Probability Module
