    The suite of games Biologia Divertida emerged from a demand related to the creation of educational games for mobile. The start point was a booklet of games created by teacher Angelo Sales. Designed for students of the high school used to digital content, the booklet was developed as digital game.

    In order to migrate the paper version to digital content for mobile, the team worked in the script and gameplay.

     The development of the suite of serious game Biologia Divertida in inserted in the research and develpment activities of LabTEVE related to gamification and computational intelligence.

Biologia Divertida: The Suite

    The first games of the suite approach the cardiorespiratory system (SCR) and health programs (PS).



    The player must discover a main concept from letters that can be found in answers of a cryptogram to win. Those answers are hidden in a crossword. The challenge is complete the concept in the shortest time.

    From colorful and interactive diagrams, the games introduce ludicity in the learning process, helping to fix knowledge received at classroom. The challenge is provided by the search of the concept in the shortest time. In this last case, the player can publish the score in a social network as a way to challenge friends to obtain a better score.

    Each game presents three incremental levels of difficulty, related to the concepts and to the direction of search in the crossword diagram.
