The contributions must be submitted in one of the following categories:
- Category 1: Full paper - 5 to 12 pages including figures, tables and bibliography.
- Category 2: Short paper - up to 2 pages including figures, tables and bibliography.
- Category 3: Undergraduate Research paper - the same format of category 2 and one of the authors must be an undergraduate student.
IMPORTANT:
- Papers can be submitted in Portuguese or English language.
- All submissions will be reviewed by the Scientific Commitee. The acceptance notification will follow the schedule posted in Important Dates.
- Papers submitted in category 1 will be presented in English and papers in the categories 2 and 3 will be presented in poster format.
- The proceedings will be available in the website of the conference. However, the scientific comittee is observing the possibility of special numbers of journals to invite the best papers presented.
- Accepted papers must have at least one author registered in the conference in order to have the paper published in the proceedings. Please, check the registration instructions and calendar:
Early registration.
- Each registration can be related to a maximun of 2 papers of a same author, independent of category.
SUBMISSION:
Papers must be submitted eletronically, using the EasyChair system:

EasyChair is a system for submission of papers and management of conferences. It is necessary to make a registration in the system to be able to make submissions. In case of doubts, please contact the III CBSF secretariat by the email: cbsf2014@de.ufpb.br with the subject: "Submission Problem".
TEMPLATES:
All papers must use the PDF format. The templates below should be used for all categories of submission.
- LaTeX
It is recomended the use of LaTeX2e when preparing the paper. Use the class "llncs2e" provided by Springer. Here is possible to find a folder with this class and an example file that can be modified.
- MS-Word
The Microsoft Word is not recommended, mainly due to the fçloating images that can change place in printing versions. However, this format is accepted and the following template and example can be used and modified (PC and Mac). Please, read the instructions carefully.
- Publication of Proceedings
The proceedings will be available eletronically in the conference webpage. IMPORTANT: Only will be published papers that follow the template of the conference and have at least one author registered on the final version submission date. Each author registered can submit up to 2 papers in any category.
